July 2024: Open Letter to the Biden-Harris Administration
On July 25, 2024, following Benjamin Netanyahu's address to Congress, 45 American physicians, surgeons, and nurses sent an urgent open letter to the Biden-Harris Administration.
The letter detailed their experiences working in Gaza since October 7, 2023, and highlighted the humanitarian crisis they witnessed. Despite the gravity of their findings, the administration has not responded.
A Second Effort for Change
On October 2, 2024, nearly every American healthcare worker who has served in Gaza since October 7 signed a second open letter.
In their second letter, they shared additional testimony, and called for a face-to-face meeting with President Biden and Vice President Harris to discuss what they witnessed in Gaza, and how U.S. policy must change.
